A computer network has two or more computers connected - either via wired or WiFi - that transmit, transfer, or share data on the device. You build a computer network using hardware (for example, pilots, switches, access points, and cables) and software (e.g., operating systems or business applications).
Geographical conditions usually define a computer network.
For example, a LAN (local area network) connects a computer into a defined
physical space, such as an enterprise, where a WAN (local area network) can
connect a computer across the entire continent. The Internet is the largest
example of the WAN, connecting billions of computers worldwide.
